Okay, so during the week leading up the the Championship game, a few folks from TeleQuebec's program "les francs-tireurs" followed around a number of ladies from MTLRD, and attended both our last practice and the Championship bout. The host asked a number of questions about the game, why we played and essentially what the big deal was about Roller Derby. Frankly, the guy seemed a bit skeptical about the whole thing at the beginning. We hope he got the point by the end of the game... but, ya never know... tonight we'll find out. The show airs at 8pm.
